Have you had seasons where you felt spiritually asleep? Describe what that season looked like and how God awakened you out of it. Or if you are still in that season, how might God awaken you out of it?
What good works has God given you to do in the context of our local church? What ministry team do you currently serve on? If you aren’t consistently serving on one yet, what team will you join? How has sacrificially serving been a means of keeping you spiritually strong?
What kind of season of life are you currently in (e.g. busy, painful, normal, etc)? What do you need to specifically remember about the gospel in your current season?
What are the best ways you have found to remind yourself of the gospel on a daily basis?
When was the last time you made a decision in light of the gospel? What did that look like? What big or little decisions are coming up in your life that you need to make in light of the gospel?
Of the rewards Jesus promises in this text which one means the most to you and why? How does that promise give you strength for today and hope for tomorrow?
