What do you think are the marks of a self-sufficient church? Why is Jesus opposed to a prideful church? How can we as a church keep from becoming prideful and self-sufficient? Take some time and pray that our church would be completely dependent upon Christ.

How have you tried to fix or hide your sin instead of just bringing it to Jesus? How has the gospel freed you from such pride and self sufficiency? Or how should the gospel free you from such pride and self -sufficiency?

What adjustments can you make to fellowship with Christ before you do anything else? What things in your life would dramatically change?
