What part of your life are you most tempted to call “yours” rather than God’s? What would trusting His goodness and submitting to that area to Him look like this week?
Look at verse 4. How do you see Jesus fulfilling each of these requirements in His life? Which of these areas most exposes a gap between who you are and who God says you are? What is one practical step you can take to pursue greater purity in that area?
How are you tempted to believe that disobeying God will make you happier than trusting Him? What can you do to remind yourself of His goodness?
